Jersey Speed Skiff 1 Jersey Speed Skiff 1
In the early 70's I worked in marinas and helped my friend Mike Schwaner build this awesome Jersey Speed Skiff ~70 mph+. Note the stylish haircut and cool look of the opened shirt.

Jersey Speed Skiff 2 Jersey Speed Skiff 2
Too bad I don't have a better picture of the boat. It had either a 283 (for racing) or 327 (for fun) Chevy V8 centered and a flat bottom with seats for driver and trim tab operator at the stern.

TurboCraft 1 TurboCraft 1
I got an early 60's 16' Buehler Turbocraft in 1977. Buehler made the first jet boats ever starting in 1959. Our 'Naughty Lady' had a small block ford V8 truck engine amidships that sounded wonderful.

TurboCraft 2 TurboCraft 2
The Hamilton jet pump had a reverse gate controlled by a Ford convertible top hydraulic motor from a dial on the dash board. The throttle was a gas pedal and went about 50 mph.
